Basic principles of pneumatic systems – Compressed air production and delivery – Actuators and control valves – Pneumatic control circuit design – Electro-pneumatic control – Electro-pneumatic control with PLC – Pneumatic system maintenance – Basic principles of hydraulic systems.
DC.Description.NoteNote
The Hydraulics and Pneumatics course covers fundamental principles of pneumatic and hydraulic systems; components and symbols; compressed air generation and conditioning equipment; actuators and control valves; electrical control devices and solenoid valves; and the design of pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-pneumatic, and electro-hydraulic control circuits, including PLC-based control. It also addresses the design and sizing of pneumatic and hydraulic components, equipment assembly, installation, and functional testing, as well as troubleshooting and system maintenance. The entire volume is designed for a 75-hour course; the content is comprehensively organized and easy to understand, making it suitable for Industrial Engineering students and other interested individuals.
