User Guide

A quick walkthrough of searching, previewing and downloading e-books from the library.

🔎Finding a book

  1. Type a title, author or subject in the search box on the home page, or open the Search menu for advanced filters (category, author, year).
  2. Browse by collection from the home page — grouped by document type and discipline.
  3. Click a book to open its detail page with full Dublin Core metadata and citations.

👁Previewing

On any book page, click “Read preview” to open the first 15 pages in a pop-up viewer. No sign-in is required to preview.

⬇Accessing the full text

Each title uses one of two modes:
1. Downloadable — sign in and click “Download full text (PDF)”. The file carries the university logo watermark.
2. Read online only — read it in the browser with a PDF viewer that shows your username as a watermark on every page; there is no download button.

Both modes require sign-in, and every download or online read is logged with the member, date, time and IP address.

🔒Access levels

Some titles are reserved for PBRU staff and students. Register with a @pbru.ac.th or @mail.pbru.ac.th email to access PBRU-only material; public members can access public titles.
