Service Policy

📘1. Purpose of service

This system provides access to academic e-books, theses, research and documents for education and research. It is operated by the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology (ARIT), Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.

• All materials remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and rights holders.
• Each title displays its licence (e.g. Creative Commons or All rights reserved). Please use each work within the terms of its licence.
• Reproduction or distribution for commercial purposes without permission is prohibited.

👤3. Membership & eligibility

• Membership is open to PBRU staff/students (via a pbru.ac.th email) and to the general public.
• PBRU-only titles are accessible to verified PBRU members; public titles are open to all members.
• Accounts must not be shared.

🛡️4. File access modes & usage logging

Titles are offered in two modes: (1) downloadable, with the university logo watermark, and (2) read online only, viewed in the browser with your username watermarked on every page and no download option. The system logs the member, date, time and IP for every download or online read for auditing. Circumventing access controls or redistributing files is not permitted.

🔐5. Personal data & privacy

• We collect your name, email and usage data (views, downloads) to operate the service and comply with copyright reporting.
• Download logs are retained for up to 5 years and are accessible to authorised administrators only.
• Your data is not sold or shared with third parties, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
